CHICAGO (WLS) — A local baker channeled his skills into a force for radical change.
Karla Armor is the president of La Matriz Breadand besides making decadent treats, the aim is to create jobs for those who have been unlawfully convicted.

He joined the ABC7 Chicago weekend morning team to talk more about his mission and the upcoming rally to support those still fighting for justice.
“#FreeOurPeople Rally for the Wrongfully Convicted” starts on September 9th. Participants will meet at the Grand and Harlem crossroads from noon to 2:00 p.m. No reservation is required and all are welcome to attend.
