John Kerry is something of a dedicated climate change envoy for the Biden administration. He had just gone to China to discuss this matter and came back empty-handed. Is anyone surprised?
Along with India, China is one of the worst countries in the world for contributing to pollution, but they don’t seem to care. They are more concerned with turning on the lights.
Kerry humorously claims they had a productive talk but achieved nothing on this trip. The trip back and forth creates more carbon than the point of the trip.

John Kerry appeared blank in China climate talks
Presidential Special Envoy on Climate (SPEC) John Kerry announced during a news conference in China on Wednesday that his visit to the country failed to result in a significant climate deal.
Kerry told reporters that, while he and his Chinese counterparts had “frank” discussions about fighting global warming, they had been unable to cement any formal agreement. He added that the US and China – the world’s two biggest polluters – would need additional time to finalize a climate agreement between the two countries.
“We came to Beijing to untangle what has been stuck for almost a year, and that is direct dialogue between the United States and China,” Kerry said, E&E News reported.
“We had very honest conversations, but we came here to break new ground, which we think is important at this stage, and it’s clear that we’re going to need a lot more work to be able to accomplish that task, which we still believe, both of us, can do,” he continued.
Kerry should have retired a long time ago.

Although John Kerry bowed down to Communist China, he failed to secure a deal with Beijing to fight climate change.
However, Kerry is likely to continue to be an accomplice to the Chinese.
