There have been many reports of the homelessness problem in San Francisco, but according to a businessman from the city, it is far worse than anyone, including the media, knows.
This is one of the main reasons why so many companies have left town in recent months.
With a large homeless population comes crime and dirty streets. San Francisco also has both of those problems.

One San Francisco business owner said reporters had “no idea” the depth of the homeless crisis in the area, calling what he saw “absolutely shocking.”
“They do not know. To be honest, they don’t know. The things that we see here day to day are just really staggering,” Cody Cunningham, owner of SF Planters told Fox News Digital. “The level of drug addiction, mental health problems, and crime—is apocalyptic, to be honest, almost every now and then.”
A longtime Bay Area resident, Cunningham has changed his landscaping business to now exclusively install heavy-duty sidewalk planter boxes primarily used to deter homeless encampments in the city’s…
Business owners have seen a “sharp decline” in the quality of life in cities in the last 25+ years. Business and property owners have to deal with break-ins, trash and fires every day, he says.
“Trouble on the road –seems to be metastasizing, apparently year after year. So people are just — trying to make their town look a little bit more beautiful with planter boxes,” he added.
