Michael A. Taylor turned up big to help the Twins cut the White Sox

Michael A. Taylor led in the seventh inning winning streak and Christian Vazquez went 2-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI as the Minnesota Twins rallied to a 3-2 victory over the Chicago White Sox on Saturday night in Minneapolis

Carlos Correa hit base four times with two hits and two walks and Jordan Balazovic (1-0) earned his first major league win in a relief inning for Minnesota, which has improved to 7-2 since the All-Star break.
Jhoan Duran, despite dropping a pair of infield singles, scored a touchdown in the ninth round. He fanned Luis Robert Jr. with a 102.5 mph fastball to end the game and record the 17th save.
Anderson’s team stole home with a double steal and had two hits, while Yasmani Grandal and Robert also had two hits apiece for Chicago. Keynan Middleton (2-2) suffered a loss to Dylan Halt, who allowed one hit on three hits over six innings while hitting nine.
Chicago risked four singles and a double steal to take a 2-0 lead in the third inning. Anderson opted by one out, advancing to third on a goal by Robert and then scored with a double steal when Vazquez dropped to second to try and get Robert on the front end of the game. One exit later, Grandal selected to right to drive on Robert.
Minnesota cut it to 2-1 in the bottom of the third quarter when Vazquez took the lead with two touchdowns down the right, advanced to third via a groundout by Taylor and scored on two lines of Correa’s drives.
The Twins then took the lead in seventh when five straight hitters reached base against White Sox relievers Middleton and Gregory Santos
With one out, Byron Buxton walked in and stole the second. After Kyle Farmer followed with a lone infield, Buxton came on to score thanks to two goals from over the left field fence by Vazquez. Taylor followed with a single row drive to center to drive on Farmer for what proved to be the game win.
