Famous Pre-Trial Trial Awarded in Worker’s Compensation Lawsuit: Ohio Nurse Forced to Receive COVID-19 Vaccine, Resulting in Severe Neurological Disorders | Gatekeeper

Danielle Bakeran experienced registered nurse, preparing to take on her former employer, Ohio Hospice Inc, to court after he was forced to accept the Pfizer mRNA COVID-19 vaccine. After developing a serious neurological condition known as “transverse myelitis” post-vaccination, Baker will see his day in court early next year.

Baker is an experienced healthcare professional specializing in hospice and palliative care for two decades. He spent the last 17 years treating his patients in hospice care.

However, his life changed drastically in June 2021, when his employer allegedly issued a directive requiring COVID-19 vaccinations by July 2021 for all employees who wish to retain their benefits. Pressured by the need to provide for his family, Baker reluctantly accepts the Pfizer vaccine.

“In 2021, we started being bombarded with emails filled with facts about the safety and effectiveness of shots, prompting us all to get vaccinated. Emails started to get more demanding, questioned our morals and values, started huge incentives and finally informed staff that the “safety net” set up for those who catch Covid or have vaccine reactions will be withdrawn from July 2021 unless you take your vaccinations. It is well known that the mandate will go into effect August 1, 2021. Despite my instincts, I took it because I needed my income and my career. That’s when my life changed forever,” Baker revealed to him Give Send campaign.

Baker received his first dose of the vaccine on June 4, 2021. His condition began to deteriorate rapidly after his second dose on June 26.

“I had my second injection on June 26 and ended up in the emergency room within 24 hours. Since then, I have never been better,” Baker said.

Within 2.5 weeks of her second dose, she developed severe neurological problems, spinal demyelination, and was diagnosed with transverse myelitis, a condition confirmed by her neurologist, Dr. Jon Durrani, caused by the vaccine.

“July 17th is when I developed severe back pain and I started to lose feeling and function in all my extremities for the next four days,” Baker said.

Based on NIH“Transverse myelitis is a nerve disorder caused by inflammation of the spinal cord, the part of the central nervous system that transmits impulses from the brain to nerves in the body.”

Per Mayo Clinic, “transverse myelitis interferes with the messages that the nerves of the spinal cord send throughout the body. This can cause pain, muscle weakness, paralysis, sensory problems, or bladder and bowel dysfunction.”

Baker’s workers’ compensation lawsuit (Danielle Baker v Ohio’s Hospice, Inc, et al, Case No. 23 CV 117) had been vigorously fought by her former employer, seeking her dismissal.

However, Judge Jeannine Pratt sided with Baker, declaring that the case deserved a trial. A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for January 11, 2024, at the Miami County Courthouse in Troy, OH.

“I have battles, that’s for sure. My publicist is Kevin Tuttle. He has volunteered his time to help me because I do not have the funds to pay for the assistance,” Baker told The Gateway Pundit.

“I work as a hospital RN on the front lines of the so-called pandemic. Seeing the horror of what they are doing to our elderly population is traumatizing enough. In June 2021, after a heavy push from Ohio’s Hospice, I picked up the Pfizer series and began to deserve the hell that is now my life. I am now completely disabled and actively advocate for other people affected by all things Covid-related,” he added.

Since his negative reaction to the vaccine, Baker’s life has been a constant struggle. From being unable to work to having difficulty completing even basic daily tasks, her condition was a stark contrast to the active life she once led.

She had sought treatment from three core doctors and consulted many others in an attempt to find relief from her debilitating symptoms, to no avail.

During his last hospital admission, doctors who were ignorant of the case suggested he was suffering from psychological problems and recommended a psychiatric evaluation.

Baker’s situation is unique in Ohio because she was one of the first nurses in the state to be disabled by the COVID-19 vaccine. He hopes his case will set a precedent and help others in similar situations seek the justice they deserve.

“Not only have I been left without a job and a career, I am now permanently disabled. I got into a battle with my former employer in an attempt to get fair compensation but they won the battle. They of course had access to large sums of money against me and it’s unlikely they would respect the safety net. We live just above the poverty level so apart from disability social security we are not eligible for any other assistance,” Baker said.

“No one may be coerced, bribed, threatened and/or mandated to perform medical procedures for the benefit of their employer,” he added.

“I have proudly worked for Ohio’s Hospice for 17 years, never imagining that an agency that generates up to $49 million a year in profits would turn their back on me when I needed them most. Instead, they have left me and my family in financial ruin. This is just the tip of the iceberg, and we plan to turn it around by setting a precedent for others when we rightfully win this case.

The Baker case is considered a landmark, and has the potential to set a positive precedent in similar cases across the country. As his pre-trial hearing draws near, the healthcare community and the world will be watching closely.
