Eric Swalwell Burns Jim Jordan to the Ground During the FBI Trial

After Jim Jordan accused FBI Director Chris Wray of breaking the law, Eric Swalwell reminded everyone that Jordan had resisted a 1/6 Committee subpoena for more than 400 days.

Swalwell said, “Director, I think it’s pretty rich that the guy who accuses you of misconduct and arsenal is 400 days in violation of his own subpoena January 6th. Rich enough that you’re hearing all these accusations from someone who won’t even respond to a legitimate subpoena.
Rep. Swalwell then went on MSNBC and called the hearing loss and absolute bananas:
.@ericswalwell described the GOP at the Chris Wray trial as “bananas” and an “absolute mess”. Rep. Swalwell said, “The FBI director who oversees 38,000 employees, investigates terrorism, child exploitation, national security, walks right into Insurrection LLC partner meetings.” pic.twitter.com/ZkFVm3QCqa

Someone needs to call out the hypocrisy of Jordan and other House Republicans who claim to defend freedoms against the FBI that they see as unlawful when those same Republicans defy a January 5 Committee subpoena and refuse to testify about the Capitol attack.
Chief Jordan is notoriously bad at these hearings.
Earlier in the hearing, Judiciary Committee member Jerry Nadler exposed the real purpose of the Republican attack on the FBI, namely to roll out the red carpet for Russia to meddle in the 2024 election and help Donald Trump.
Jordan (R-OH) gets a dose of reality from Rep. Swalwell, who denies theater was created by Republican committees to hide their true motivation to help and protect Donald Trump.
