“Yesterday while training Bronny James had a heart attack,” a family spokesman said in a statement. “Medical staff were able to treat Bronny and get him to hospital. He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU.”
The statement added, “We ask respect and privacy for the James family and we will update the media when there is more information. LeBron and [his wife] Savannah would like to publicly express my deepest gratitude and appreciation to USC’s medical and athletic staff for their outstanding work and dedication to the safety of their athletes.”

The Los Angeles Fire Department told ABC News they responded before 9:30 a.m. Monday to the Galen Center at USC in light of the incident.
James was a McDonald’s All-American in his senior season in high school and was the No. 20 in the country in ESPN’s recruiting rankings.
LeBron James said one of his last goals before retiring was to play in the NBA with his son.
“I have to be on the floor with my boys, I have to be on the floor with Bronny,” James said during an interview with ESPN in January.
LeBron James added: “I asked him what his aspirations were, and he said he wanted to play in the NBA. So, if he wants to do it, he has to work. I’m already here, so I’m just waiting for him.”
