BEIJING (Reuters) – Chinese search engine giant Baidu (NASDAQ:) CEO Robin Li said on Friday that the company will “soon” officially launch Ernie 3.5, a generative AI big language model that will support Baidu Ernie Bot’s ChatGPT-like apps and update engine. the seeker.

Li made the announcement at the Zhongguancun Forum, one of China’s most high-profile tech forums, about two months after Ernie Bot was first exposed to the public for mixed reviews.

Since then, Ernie Bot and other products powered by the company’s generative AI grand language model have remained in test mode, with a select number of companies and users invited to test the product and provide feedback.
